November 4, 2005 - The Factor doesn’t endorse political candidates. Vote for the Republican guy.
\We’re not saying Bill is nuts, but rumor has it that Buddy Squirrel is filing an antitrust suit.
This is from last night’s Talking Points Memo:
“Now next Tuesday voters in New Jersey will elect a governor. The choice is between
Senator Jon Corzine, a Democrat, and Doug Forrester, a Republican. Now The Factor
doesn’t endorse political candidates. We feel that you know your local people far better
than we do. But in this case Forrester will push for Jessica’s Law, Corzine will not. “
“So if you live in New Jersey and you care about the kids, in my opinion you gotta go with
Forrester. Corzine is a classic liberal, a man who believes there’s grey in pretty much
every issue. We believe there is no grey in adults sexually assaulting children. You do it
one time, you go to jail for 25 years. That’s Jessica’s Law. That’s what’s needed in New
Jersey and every other state in the Union.”
Let’s break this down a little:
1. “The Factor doesn’t endorse political candidates.”
Really? Wow, I could have sworn that you…. okay, I’ll take your word for it.
2. “…you gotta go with Forrester.”
That’s an endorsement, Bill. And you’re on The Factor.
3. “So if you live in New Jersey and care about the kids…”
Wait a second. I live in New Jersey. I care about kids. But I was going to vote for the
Democrat. I mean, the Republican campaign has been rocked by allegations of campaign
finance violations. I don’t know if I trust those guys. I don’t know what to do now.
4. “Corzine is a classic liberal...”
A classic liberal? Not far-left? Not bomb-throwing? Now it’s the “classic liberal” that’s the
problem? But I’m a CLASSIC LIBERAL!
5. “That’s what’s needed in New Jersey and every other state in the Union.”
So vote Republican, but only if you care about the kids. Nice try, O’Reilly.
Sweet Jesus, I hate Bill O'Reilly, Intl.
